JIM'S FIRST WEEK AT WORK

As of April, Jim is working with Scoop (www.Scoop.co.nz), a website news service based here in Wellington. Scoop has a unique business model, aggregating raw news and press releases for politics and business in New Zealand and abroad.  It also offers readers a wide variety of editorial/opinion writings. Scoop has a maverick journalism entrepreneur feel, which suits Jim fine.

So for those of you that know Jim, you’ll appreciate that when he was offered the chance to tag along to a climate change debate with four of NZ’s top political parties on board the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior, it took him all of .5 milliseconds to clear his plans for the evening. Politics, climate change debate, independent news, all on board the world’s most famous protest vessel… Jim’s kind of evening!
