Angie’s "Minute of Fame" in Whanganui

Our trip to Whanganui was both pleasure and study for Angie. Judith Timpany, the President of the Rotary Club of Whanganui Daybreak hosted us in style. From her turn of the century (the other one) Victorian home, to her wonderful cookery and fabulous hostess abilities, we felt spoiled.

With Judith’s passion and knowledge of community-based programmes for youth, she arranged many visits for Angie to learn about at-risk prevention programmes in the area. And if that wasn’t enough, add on an interview with the local newspaper...

Much to our surprise Angie appeared on the front page of the Whanganui Chronicle the next day!
